Rothwell Baptist Church

For the last three years we have been limited to the Medium Hall, but renovations are nearly complete on our older building. We are just adding the finishing touches....

This gives us two bright new rooms plus extra toilets and a big lobby opening on to a sunny, childsafe patio.

The Large Hall (right) and Small Hall have underfloor heating. There is space for laptops, and wireless internet access throughout.

We have been greatly helped by some very generous funders, especially Green Leeds, Caird Bardon and the Baptist Building Fund. Many individual gifts have also been much appreciated.

The Opening Weekend is 18/19 September with a further Community Open Day on Saturday 25th October. More details later, but you can look around now by arrangement.

So if you are wondering about space for your group, here is our current use of the medium hall. Several of these activities are moving over in September, when the other rooms become available.

MONDAY 1.30. - 4 Monday Club

6 -8 Pilates (moving to large hall)

7 - 9 Greek (Small Hall)

TUESDAY 10 - 12 monthly group, second week Card Making

12.30 - 2.30. Babies Can Sign (moving to small hall)

7 - 9 Greek (moving to small hall)

WEDNESDAY 2 - 3.30 Midweek Fellowship

7 - 9 Greek (moving to small hall

THURSDAY 10.30. - 12 Movement to Music (moving to large hall)

7.30 - 9 Church activities

FRIDAY 9.30. Boogie Babies (moving to large hall)

10.30. Mini Movers (moving to large hall)

SATURDAY Sorry, not available for regular groups

SUNDAY Church activities only

We also regret that private events are not normally possible as we don't have a caretaker to open, close and clear up.

The hire fees are:

Large Hall £12 per hour (seats approx 70)

Medium Hall £7 per hour (seats 30 - 40)

Small Hall / Meeting Room £5 per hour (seats 12 -15)

Setting up and down time is not charged. The fee includes use of kitchen for drinks and snacks.

Kitchen for meal preparation £5 per hour.

Half day rates are 2.5 times the hourly rate
i.e      Large Hall      £30
          Medium Hall £17.50
          Small Hall     £12.50
           Kitchen         £12.50
