Plans for the future

Like our town, Rothwell Baptist is on the move!

THE PLAN is to completely renovate the old building: floor, roof, windows etc., bringing it sharply up to date in terms of energy conservation and modern facilities.  

A new glass linking foyer will give access to the Hall – and vitally the kitchen.  It will be a transparent, welcoming place where the life of the church and community will be evident.   

The cost will be in the region of £180,000, of which we already have £50,000.  We hope to achieve all this in the next twelve months.   

And we believe God has even more exciting plans as we review the use of the building for the benefit of our community.

We are actively seeking organisations who would like to use our premises, either the Hall at present or the extended facilities in the future.  We already have the Gentle Exercise class on Thursdays, and 'Babies Can Sign' on Tuesdays, with 'Boogie Babies' and 'Mini Cooks' starting in January.   A Pilates class begin in April.
